ASEAN-BAC Spotlights Young Entrepreneurs In Three Day Carnival
Continuing its efforts to enhance market connectivity between the ASEAN region’s young entrepreneurs, the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council, an offshoot from the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, launches the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival, it’s flagship event on September 5-7,2017 at the PICC Plenary Hall.
The Carnival is a celebration of ideas and the role of the young in creating a better future. The three-day event on September will coincide with the largest event of the ASEAN Business Council—the ASEAN Business and Investments Summit. The event will play host to the official AYEC meetingsand related meetings, networking functions, MOU signingwith dialogue partners, side forums such as the 9thASEAN-China YE Summit, ASEAN-Australia YE dialogue, ASEAN-India YE dialogue, cultural and social enterprise exposure tours, awards night and ASEAN YE Cultural Fellowship Night. The carnival will also host pitching competitions, ethical hackathons and business exhibition.
The Philippine Young Entrepreneurs Association will be the chair of all official meetings of the AYEC and the ASEAN-China Young Entrepreneurs Association (ACYEA), and AYEA formation meetings during the the 3-day hosting.
As the official event of ASEAN for the young entrepreneurs, the carnival will highlight the Young Entrepreneurs in Technology, ASEAN, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Networking, and Tomorrow (T.A.L.E.N.T.).
As a platform for the business owners, students, aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and other stake holders, the event will give the delegates an avenue to connect, interact, build relationships and network with regional linkages. The program agenda will include plenary talks by keynote speakers, interactive panels and workshops, symposium, awards and networking. The sessions will also help the delegates to be tapped in the challenges of entrepreneurship in the basic pillars such as access to finance, market, leadership, technology and networkingthrough a pre-carnival survey.
